We will realize our festival as an online edition. The best submissions for the International Competition, 2 Minute Shorts Competition and the recently launched new Buggles Award - Music Video Award of the Federal Land of Baden-Wuerttemberg in cooperation with Pop-Büro Stuttgart. We will start the program from January 6, 2021.

Here you can buy the festival pass and register bindingly for the online formats of the supporting programme, as participation in these programme items is limited in each case.

Festival Pass Online Edition

The festival pass is now available for 10 euros but there's the option to pay more if you want. All further donations are transferred directly to „Künstler*innen Soforthilfe Stuttgart“ and the Initiative „Stuttgart gegen Rechts“.

The film programmes are not FSK-approved and are therefore only accessible from the age of 18.

Which content is accessible with the festival pass? For how long? In which country?

The content accessible with the festival pass is usually only available throughout Germany.

Exceptions: Available internationally are Evelyn Hriberšek's artistic keynote on digital ethics, which can be viewed exclusively on Sun Jan 17, 2021 from 4pm to 5pm, and Order of Magnitude by Ben Grosser. His work will be available to view online from activation until January 20. Bottled Songs by Chloé Galibert-Laîné and Kevin B. Lee is only available throughout Germany, but can also be seen online from activation until January 20.

Freely accessible programme for all

Check out the free programme section to watch the Buggles Award, interviews with filmmakers and media artists, the festival kick-off, our trailer and award ceremonies as well as film programmes of Merz Akademie and ABK Stuttgart. You can also find selected works of the Network Culture Section from the Expanded Media Exhibition and a preview of further works from the exhibition as, due to Corona, its on-site opening hours are postponed to March 2021.
