A moderated short film Programme
How does the colour red sound like? Does
a square sound like a circle? Which pictures come up in my head when I’m listening to music? Can you transfer an apartment into an orchestra? Is the picture first or the music? What’s exciting about an unchanging rhythm?
This year, our international cinema space station will take us to the planet of music. Rhythms, sounds and pictures are this planet’s inhabitants – a planet with an orbit of a “silent” moon. Plus, our international cinema space station is powered by historic film projectors in order to stay on course. We’ll be observing old film material, checking out fascinating findings and asking how film sound is produced. After the landing, our everyday world will sound quite differently and silence will be heard in a different way!
