Lena is a journalist in a crisis who researches on the subject of “European Security Policy” and eventually heads to the north of Greece, Thrace, the border area between Bulgaria and Turkey. Her destination: the new safety fence separating Greece from Turkey. By chance she meets Amy (Anna Schmidt), an activist who accompanies Lena during her research work partly due to both boredom and curiosity. This is the story of two women travelling Greece with different ambitions. A road movie through provincial Greece ensues based on the tensions between their perspectives, searching for invisible borders and a stance towards present times.
